Halloween Tasty Bone Treat

So once I found this recipe in an old Family Fun Magazine and have made these tasty bread sticks every year and they are always gone before the trick-or-treater's come back home. They are easy and kids love them and so do the adults, plus, no mess on those costumes you worked so hard on making!!! First, Unroll a tube of refrigerated bread stick dough and separate the rectangular pieces. Working with one piece at a time, stretch the dough to lengthen it a bit and then use kitchen scissors or a knife to cut a 1 1/2-inch slit in the center of each end. Roll or shape the resulting four flaps of dough into knobs that look like the ends of a bone. Place the dough bones on an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart, and sprinkle on a little coarse salt. Bake the bones until they are light golden brown, about 12 minutes. You don't have to put on salt. I did one year and the rest i haven't because they really don't need it and i don't need the extra sodium either. We also try other kinds of bread stick dough. I hope your kids love it as much as BLT.
